Spring Pangdean Barn Wedding – Sarah and Ben
With wedding season in full swing I have to ask myself why is it sooooooo cold?! So far I’ve had hailstones, lashings and lashings of rain and arctic temperatures.
It was freezing at Sarah and Ben’s wedding but that didn’t put a dampen on the fun. What did everyone do? Why they drank tea to warm up of course. There was quite a lot of tea drinking. The sun even poked its head out towards the end of the day so we were able to get some sunny, spring flavoured portraits.
Sarah and Ben had some really cute DIY touches on the day, including the amazing beach-hut seating plan and table centres, along with pretty spring flowers in jars and a cake baking competition. All in all it was a really fun, laid back and quirky wedding and I know that everyone had a brilliant time.
Freezing temperatures aside, Pangdean Barn was cosy and inviting and I have to say they’re now in my list of top venues for looking after photographers. Emma-Kate Photography assisted me at Sarah and Ben’s wedding and we were treated to home made cake on arrival. They kept trying to feed and water us at any opportunity and were one of the friendliest venues I’ve ever worked at.
So on to the pictures but not before I say a huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Eversfield. It was a pleasure to be your wedding photographer.
Quirky, beautiful and creative wedding and portrait photography in London, the UK and beyond.
